Our Story
In 2009, Brad moved from California to Texas and discovered something strange: he had to choose his electricity provider. Coming from a state with no choice, the whole process felt unnecessarily complicated.
So he built a spreadsheet. That spreadsheet became a website. That website became ComparePower.com, which has now helped over 5 million Texans find better electricity rates.
ElectricRates.org is the next chapter. Same team, same approach—now serving Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.
